Pretreatment of Wastewater in N-Methyl-p-Nitroaniline Production by the System of Fe/C/H_2O_2 Coagulation

Pretreatment of wastewater in N-Methyl-p-Nitroaniline(MNA) production by the system of Fe/C/H2O2 coagulation was studied. The influence of the initial pH value of the wastewater, reaction time, concentration of hydrogen peroxide, the mass of Fe, the mass of catalyst, the selection of flocculating agent, etc on the treatment of wastewater was investigated. The experimental results show that under the optimum process conditions the removal ratios of chromaticity and CODCr approach 95% and 45% respectively for the wastewater.
