A 3D chiral Co(II) coordination polymer featuring unique self-interpenetrating topology

2013
Abstract A 3D chiral coordination polymer, [Co 3 (hfipbb) 2 (D-Hcam) 2 (bpp) 2 (H 2 O) 2 ]·2H 2 O ( 1 ) (H 2 hfipbb = 2,2-bis(4-carboxyphenyl)hexafluoropropane, D-H 2 cam = D-(+)camphoric acid, bpp = 1,3-di(4-pyridyl)propane), has been hydrothermally synthesized, which features an interesting 6-connected self-interpenetrating (4 4 .6 10 .8) topological network. There exists predominantly antiferromagnetic interaction between the Co(II) centers in 1 .
