The present invention discloses a method and a device for transmitting data in a wireless local area network. The invention discloses a method and a device for confirming the transmission of downlink data frames by multiple working stations in a wireless local area network. The method comprises the following steps that: an access point sends a corresponding downlink data frame to each working station in multiple working stations, and after the access point sends the corresponding downlink data frame to each working station, confirmation messages sent parallelly in the channel resources distributed to the multiple working stations by the access point are received by the multiple working stations. Through the method and the device provided by the embodiment of the invention, the time needed by the feedback of confirmation messages by the multiple working stations can be saved.
