Dental management of patients with bleeding disorders

Dental procedures frequently cause bleeding. Bleeding disorders are systemic problems that have an important place in society. It has no matter that in which branch practising, the dentist should know and take the necessary measures about bleeding disorders. A well directed anamnesis of patients clues clinician about bleeding tendency and perhaps the first diagnosis of the disorder. A failed medical history and clinical examination may lead patients to serious bleeding and potentially fatal shock during and after dental treatments. This review presents an overview of clinical conditions that make up the problem of bleeding and how can a dentist treat patients with bleeding problems reveals.
