Iodine Catalyzed Intramolecular C(sp3)—H Functionalization: Synthesis of 2,5-Disubstituted Oxazoles from N-Arylethylamides.

A wide range of the title oxazoles are obtained with good functional group tolerance using tBuOOH as oxidant under metal-free conditions.
