Muscle-Spindle Recovery in Orthotopic Grafts of Cat Muscles

During a muscle-graft operation the grafted muscle undergoes a period of ischaemia before it is revascularized by the new vascular pedicle. In these experiments, the effects of this ischaemia on the subsequent recovery of cat muscle spindles has been examined in orthotopic grafts of the extensor digitorum longus (EDL) muscle.
