Première mention de Paradella dianae (Menzies, 1962) (Crustacé isopode) dans le lac sud de Tunis. Etude morphologique et écologique de l'espèce

2001
The crustacean Paradella dianae was first identified and briefly described by MENZIES (1962) in Bahia de San Quintin, Baja California, Mexico. The author only considered the general aspect of the body and the morphology of the pleopods 3 and 4 of the male. As we have enough material of Paradella dianae collected from Tunis lake, it is important to give a complete and precise redescription of the species. We also describe in detail the sexual dimorphism occuring in this species. Notes on its ecological preferences are included in this paper.
