An Evaluation Method for Power Grid Development Morphology Considering Regional Characteristics

Power grid planning is important for regional economic development. It is of great significance to accurately judge the stage of power grid development and scientifically predict the development morphology and direction of power grid for optimizing the planning. This paper establishes a quantitative evaluation index system of power grid development morphology, divides power grid development stage into initial stage, growth stage and mature stage by using saturation development theory, and proposes a quantitative method of power grid development morphology from time, space, economy, power grid and other dimensions by using hierarchical clustering method, and divides it into three parts. Step-by-step and stationary methods are used to realize space-time matching of regional power grid development paths. According to the characteristics of space-time development, typical provinces are selected for empirical analysis, and their development stages and paths are defined.
