Cold-Cathode Thyratron Triggering Method in the Electric Circuit with Grounded Cathode and Grid
2020
Triggering a cold-cathode thyratron in an electric circuit with grounded cathode and grounded grid has been proposed and investigated. According to this circuit, a considerable fraction of the trigger current should flow into the main electrode gap of the thyratron during the device triggering. It has been shown that the proposed method allows triggering the thyratron with jitter of about 4 ns.
