Zeitstandschädigungen an Komponenten in Frischdampfleitungen aus dem Werkstoff X20 CrMoV 12 1

Creep damage revealed by random tests in the form of micropores, microcracks and partly even macrocracks have been detected on bends in the X 20 CrMoV 12 1 main steam pipework of a power plant after 110000 to 125000 operating hours. A system type fault was not recognizable and therefore all the bends had to be examined. As a result of the findings some bends had to be immediately replaced and others are being regularly inspected.
