The Functioning of Alcoholics in Society

The paper points out the main reasons for drinking alcohol and presents various circumstances which instigate alcohol drinking. The focus is on the impact of alcohol on physicality and mentality of young people and the significance of alcoholism as a disease striking the whole family rather than one addicted individual. The authors analysed the attitudes towards alcohol in workplaces changing throughout ages and the frequency of crimes committed under the influence of alcohol.
