Metal-plastic sandwich sheet and process for its preparation

The invention relates to a metal-plastic sandwich plate (18) with metallic cover plates (1a, 12a) and at least one is arranged between the cover sheets plastic layer (1b, 12b; 18b) which cohesively to the cover plates (1a, 12a) is connected. In order to improve such a sandwich plate with respect to its processing properties, the invention proposes that at least one of the two cover plates (1a, 12a) is formed of a metal sheet, the surfaces (1 *, 1 **, 12 *, 12 **) with each other have different roughness, wherein the difference of the average surface roughness is at least 0.4 .mu.m, preferably at least 0.5 microns. The invention is based on the idea that the cover plates (1a, 12a) to produce on its top and bottom (outer and inner surfaces) of different roughness, so that they free the respective optimum with regard to the desired by the customer for the outer surfaces of the sandwich material roughness and also the optimum with regard to the adhesion between the cover sheet (1a, 12a) and the plastic layer (1b, 12b; 18b) can be fulfilled. Further, a method for producing such a sandwich plate (18) is described and claimed.
