The crystallization system includes a crucible (1) with a bottom (2) and side walls (3) for containing the material to solidify, and a device (4) for creating a main thermal gradient within the crucible (1) in a direction perpendicular to the bottom (2) of the crucible (1). An inductive heating device (6) further is arranged at the side walls (3) of the crucible (1). This inductive heating device (6) further is configured to heat a localized part of the crystalline material in the vicinity of the triple line between the liquid material, the solidified material and the crucible (1) so that the interface (10) between the liquid material and the solidified material forms a convex meniscus in the vicinity of the contact line.
