Carbon Fixation and Allocation

The question of ‘Carbon fixation and allocation’ in the context of ‘Carbon sequestration in the biosphere’ requires that we consider Net Ecosystem Productivity (NEP), not merely ‘Gross Primary Productivity’ (GPP) or ‘Net Primary Productivity’ (NPP).
