Ein Jahr Erfahrung mit dem intraoperativen Hochfeld-MRT

One-Year Experience with the Intraoperative High-Field MRT. Objective: By means of intraoperative magnetic resonance tomography (iMRT) the extent of resection and the accuracy of intended lesionectomy can be improved in neurosurgery. By updating the neuronavigational data with the intraoperative examination, inaccuracy caused by brain shift is avoided. Methods: In a prospective study, 92 patients with cerebral (97 %) and spinal (3 %) lesions were operated and controlled by means of iMRT.
