Efeitos do microagulhamento no tratamento de sequelas de acne: um artigo de revisão de literatura

Acne consists of an inflammatory process generating comedones, erythematous papules, pustules and nodules, appearing more frequently at puberty, often resulting in scars that constitute an aesthetic and psychological problem, where techniques such as microneeduction demonstrate a very significant efficacy In sequelae. Objective: To demonstrate the effects of microneedle removal on acne sequelae. Materials and Methods: The present study is characterized as a literature review. The exploration of the studies was carried out in the electronic databases of the virtual health library (VHL), the SCIELO, MEDLINE and PUBMED indexes, which included controlled and randomized, case-control and double-blind clinical trials published in the last five years and Excluded articles not available in full, literature reviews or systemic reviews. The descriptors available in the DesC (descriptors in science and health) were combined with the Boolean operators in these databases. Results and Discussion: According to the six articles that were used for the preparation of this literature review, all obtained satisfactory results in microaggregation used for acne sequelae. With this, microneeduction is a form of cosmetic treatment considered advantageous and effective for acne scar attenuation, because it is inexpensive and does not require a very long time of rest. The studies also proved the quality of the procedure, especially in the healing process and with this the appearance of the results in a short period of time, returning the well being and satisfaction of the clients who performed the procedure. Conclusion: Micro-scrubbing is a safe and effective method for treating acne sequelae, exhibiting in a short period of time, excellent results in improving the appearance of acne scars.
