Structural element of veneer sheet composite and methods for making

Object of the present invention are structural elements that are at least partially made according to the principles of lightweight composites of veneer and thermoplastic films. In addition, a method is presented, as these structural elements can be produced in an advantageous manner. The starting point is a veneer, which is connected to one or both sides of a thermoplastic film. This veneer is scratched at intended folding or weakened in any way. Then, the veneer is transformed individually or as a stack and is fixed in the deformed position by means of sticking or melting of the thermoplastic films.
