La expansión de Cortaderia selloana (Schult. & Schult. f.) Asch. & Graebn. (Poaceae) en Tenerife, islas Canarias

Cortaderia selloana (Schult. & Schult f.) Asch. & Graebn., is a South American plant that has a notorious invasive behaviour that makes it occupy wide areas in several parts of the world. The present work includes a collection of data on its biology and ecology, also providing information on the corology and its current situation on the island of Tenerife. This work emphasis the precise location of the different populations and their degree of naturalization in the environment. In view of the results, it looks convenient to include this species in the Spanish Catalog of invasive alien species for the canary territory.
