Basic Theories of Pulsed Alternators

2021
Inertial energy storage is an energy storage technology that stores energy with moving objects. It is often used in homopolar or pulsed alternators. This book didn’t mention homopolar alternators due to their low output voltage, while focused on pulsed alternators instead. Pulsed alternators usually take rotors as their energy storage body under the speed of thousands of revolutions or even tens of thousands of revolutions per minute, allowing for the storage of large amounts of energy.
