2013
The article analyzes several genres of 18 th century Masonic poetry from the magazines Utrenniy Svet, Vechernyaya Zarya, Pokoyas h chiysya Trudolyubets, and Magazin Svobodnokamenshchitskiy. The author demonstrates that in Masonic poetry, there appear genres aimed to reflect the ontological and anthropological direction of Masonic philosophy, and meant to correspond to the cosmic principles, the universal laws of the world order and the supreme powers of being (prayers, spiritual odes, philosophic works), along with ethological genres, reflecting the state of people's worldly life on different levels of development (parables, fables, riddles, idylls).
