Gas-phase infrared laser spectroscopy of bound hydrogen-bonded systems
1982
Application of tunable infrared lasers to the spectroscopic investigation of equilibrium, gaseous hydrogen-bonded systems is demonstrated. Broadband spectra of the nν6 + ν1 − nν6 vibrations in and have been recorded with a computer-controlled multimode color center laser using both conventional absorption and infrared-acoustic detection methods.
