Effectiveness of spore probiotics with respect to mycobacteria and nocardioform actinomycetes

The antagonistic activity of commercial bacillus-based probiotic preparations with respect to mycobacteria and nocardioform actinomycetes has been studied. A cell suspension or sterile culture filtrate of bacilli was plated on Loewenstein-Jensen medium and then indicator strains were inoculated.
