Numerical Simulation of Supersonic Free Jet by TVD Schemes

The results of numerical investigation of impulse launching of jet and stationary sonic jet are represented. Two explicit TVD schemes are used to integrate of unsteady two-dimensional Euler’s equations. The setting of “nonreflection” boundary conditions at the outflow boundaries have allowed to obtain the reliable results, that were in a good agreement with experiment.
