Miniaturized Horst-type Wilkinson Power Divider with Harmonic Suppression

2020
A Horst-type Wilkinson power divider with miniaturization and harmonic suppression is presented in this letter, where T-shaped structures are used to replace two quarter-wavelength transmission lines for compact circuit size. The design formulas are analyzed and presented in detail. To suppress higher harmonic and further miniaturization, radial stub is substituted for open stub. Finally, the proposed power divider not only achieved a size decrease of 64% compared with the structure proposed in the Horst type Wilkinson power divider at 1.5 GHz, but also provides -$16.5\mathrm{d}\mathrm{B}$ suppression until 5. 3fo. Measured Sii, S 21 and S 31 of the proposed work are -$19.97\mathrm{d}\mathrm{B}$, -$3.22\mathrm{d}\mathrm{B}$ and -$3.22\mathrm{d}\mathrm{B}$ at 1.5 GHz, respectively.
