Pharmacognostic, epidermal and leaf architectural studies in Ocimum kilimandscharium guerke. (Lamiaceae)

Ocimum kilimandscharicum, an aromatic medicinal plant, was analyzed for its preliminary pharmacognostic features. It showed presence of bioactive compounds like alkaloids, saponins, phenols and tannins. Details of dermatological and leaf -architectural features were studied for its easy identification.
