Endometriosis umbilical con estudio de receptores hormonales Umbilical Endometrosis with Study of Hormonal Receptors

2003
Summary Endometriosis is the presence of extrauterine endometrial tissue. Although most cases of endometriosis are located in the pelvis, it may be found in the skin as a spontaneous or secondary lesion. The umbilicus is the most common site for primary cutaneous endometriosis and represents about 1% of all cases of ectopic endometrial tissue. We present a case of spontaneous umbilical endometriosis that a showed positive immunohistochemical reaction for estrogen and progesterone receptors.
