The purpose of this research is to find out the effect of Ethical Leadership on Work Engagement
with Psychological Empowerment mediation variables and Power Distance Orientation as
moderating variables and their impact on Innovative Work Behavior at employee of Kabupaten
Padang Pariaman. The respondents are 86 employees This research tested through an analysis
of Structural Equation Model using software Smart-PLS 3.2.9. The result of this research proved
that the ethical leadership did not affect significantly on innovative work behavior, ethical
leadership did not affect significantly on work engagement, work engagement has possitive and
significant effect on innovative work behavior, ethical leadership did not affect significantly on
psychological empowerment, psychological empowerment has possitive and significant effect on
work engagement, empowerment psychology did not mediate the relationship between ethical
leadership and work engagement, power distance orientation did not moderate the relationship
between ethical leadership and psychological empowerment.
