A process for preparing Fettsäureestern from non-deacidified fats and oils

A method is proposed for the production of fatty acid lower from non-deacidified fats and oils, in which DOLLAR A (a) esterified technical triglycerides with acid numbers in the range of 1 to 50 in the presence of Lewis acids with lower alcohols, while the acid value below to a value lowers by 2, DOLLAR a (b) subjecting the thus obtained deacidified mixture in the presence of alkali metal hydroxides and lower alcohols, transesterification, thereby cutting off water and released glycerol, and optionally DOLLAR a (c) the transesterification mixture thus obtained in the presence of alkali metal another transesterification subjects, thereby cutting off also released glycerol.
