Article to be directly enameled, especially treatment of metallic surface of steel sheet

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for treating an article to be directly enameled after pickling, especially the metallic surface of steel sheet. SOLUTION: A metal surface to be coated with a film at 0.2-2g/m 2 is pickled and treated with amorphous-phosphate in a first stage, and then is plated with nickel in a second stage. The amt. of sludge due to pickling is decreased, and the adhesive strength of an enamel is improved. When a enameled product is produced from the directly enameled metallic sheet, the sheet is formed between the first pickling and phosphate treating stage and the second nickel plating stage.
