The invention discloses an intelligent vehicle steering control method and system. The intelligent vehicle steering control method comprises the following steps: actual vehicle traveling information and expected path coordinate points are acquired; a subject expected corner theta t at the current moment is calculated and output according to the acquired actual vehicle traveling information and expected path coordinate points based on a vehicle center arc movement principle; the subject expected corner theta t is corrected according to the acquired actual vehicle traveling information and expected path coordinate points, so that a final expected corner is obtained; a steering wheel steering motor is enabled to control a vehicle to turn according to the final expected corner. The expected corner can be precisely calculated according to circular arc geometric motion, the vehicle center is enabled to reach the expected path, all that is required is to measure related parameters of the vehicle and set preview distance for calculation of the expected corner, and other adjustable coefficients are not required, so that the adaptability and the debugging convenience of the control system are improved.
