The Application of Intelligent Image Detection in Piston Online Selection

On the basis of the need of piston online inspection of a piston factory, machine vision inspection technology has been used in piston online visual selection and an intelligent image detection system has been developed. Visual Basic has been combined with the intelligent image sensor in the system, the characteristics of VB and the intelligent image sensor have been made the best use of, and the system has been made easy be used and with high efficiency. Template match principle has been mainly used to do image recognition in detections. The system has met the need of the factory’s production, the production efficiency has been improved and labour intensity has been lowered, online detection and selection of pistons have been realized.
