정수장 슬러지의 강도 특성 비교에 관한 연구

Water treatment plant sludges occurred in water treatment process. The growth of arising water treatment plant sludges is increasing due to rapid industrialization and increase of population. These are managed by ocean disposal or reclamation. But, by London agreement from 1998 most part of ocean disposal is very limited. Considering growth of treatment expenditure and decreasing land of reclamation makes the demanding test of reuse. This study has attended laboratory test for the intensity of water treatment plant sludges as compaction test, uniaxial compression test, direct-shear test. Also, to make a comparison and appraisement between water treatment plant sludges and SC (soil of clay mixed sand), examined possibility of reuse construction materials. In strength of uniaxial compression, they have similar tend to general clay, but they are hard to secure strength as construction materials, and assume an aspect brittle failure. In the result of direct-shear test, they are high cohesion and low angle of internal friction. Water treatment plant sludge are a little limit to practical use of construction materials. But when they use to mix other construction materials which can reinforce limitable factors in considering construction and economical efficiency,
