PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-performance display in which warping of a barrier wall resulted from contraction stress in baking is reduced, and lighting failrue or abnormal lighting of a discharge cell by breakage of the barrier wall caused in application of vibration, impact or the like to a display panel is suppressed. SOLUTION: The display member has a barrier wall consisting of a plurality of layers differed in porosity. The barrier wall is constituted so that the layer with the largest porosity is present only in the range of 75% upper layers of the barrier wall when the height of the barrier wall is taken as 100%.
