Emulsion compositions and pesticidal emulsion compositions

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an emulsion composition which is environmentally-friendly and able to prepare an agrochemical emulsion composition having good emulsifiability which is not affected by the ionicity of the agrochemical active ingredient to be used together with the emulsion composition, and an agrochemical emulsion composition containing the emulsion composition and an agrochemical active ingredient.SOLUTION: An emulsion composition contains a component (A): lauryl alcohol, a component (B): at least one polyoxyethylene tristyryl phenyl ether, and a component (C): at least one aromatic hydrocarbon-based nonpolar solvent selected from the group consisting of alkylbenzenes and naphthalenes. The emulsion composition contains neither anionic surfactant nor cationic surfactant.
