Percutaneous transperitoneal biopsy in urologic malignancies

Abstract A percutaneous transperitoneal thin needle aspiration biopsy was performed in 15 patients with urologic malignancies to determine the extent of disease and obviating in some cases exploratory surgery. No complications have resulted thus far. The technique is discussed.
