Convenient and sensitive synchronous fluorescence detection of trace TNT based on FRET using FITC–PAH as a probe

This paper reports a convenient and sensitive method for the detection of TNT by using FITC–PAH as a probe, which selectively recognizes the TNT molecule with the amino group, and anchors the amino–TNT complex adjacent to the fluorophore moiety via the bent alkyl chain, leading to the fluorescence quenching of the probe through Forster resonance energy transfer (FRET).
