RESULTS OF RADIATION LEVEL STUDY IN SOME TERRITORIES OF MONGOLIA

The outdoor terrestrial gamma-ray background in the urban environment of provincial centers and several cities of Mongolia was studied in order to assess the absorbed gamma dose rates in the open air and determine the activity concentrations of 238U, 232Th, and 40K in soil samples collected from selected locations.
