Static security control method to solve UPFC near area equipment overload

At present, the fast adjustment characteristics of UPFC are used to solve the static security problem in the near area, but the control objectives are determined beforehand, without considering the change of the actual operation mode and the economy. In this paper, UPFC is taken as the static security control and optimization measure to solve the overload of UPFC near area equipment. Firstly, the effectiveness of UPFC static security control is determined. Then, UPFC control objectives are determined by using cluster parallel computing. Finally, UPFC adopts a given control mode and setting value, and conventional control measures are used as supplement continue to eliminate the static insecurity. The actual data analysis results of Southern Jiangsu show that the method proposed can effectively solve the UPFC near area static security problem and optimize the network loss.
