Presentación. Las migraciones en el siglo XXI y la tierra incógnita Migration in the twenty-first century and the unknown land

Migration continues to arouse the interest of researchers for its political, economic, cultural, and social implications. The situation of economic crisis at the beginning of the 21st century is causing a clearly restrictive trend in immigration policies which need to be analysed in more detail in the countries of the European Union. Changes arising from the global geopolitical context and the complexity of the labour markets, ductile, moving, and changing, places the study of the phenomenon of migration in a context little known so far where the education, training, sports, health, stigma, and processes intertwine with the labile concept of economic crisis, demonstrating the unknowns derived from a deep post-modern crisis of the human being.
