생물 사이의 에너지 흐름을 주제로 한 STEAM 프로그램 개발 및 적용 효과

The aims of this study are to develop the STEAM program focused on energy flow between plants and animals and to identify its influence on the academic achievement, creative problem solving and scientific attitude. For these objectives, the STEAM program was developed by reorganizing the contents of photosynthesis dealt with in the unit of ‘structure and function of plants’ and digestion system dealt with in the unit of ‘our body’ in grade 5th of elementary science. The developed STEAM program was applied to grade 5th students of O elementary school in J province. As a result of applying the STEAM program, the experimental group showed significant improvements in the creative problem solving and scientific attitude tests compared to the control group. Therefore continuous and systematic development of the STEAM program which focus on integrated concepts is required.
