Application of Proline-Functionalized 1,2-Diphenylethane-1,2-diamine (DPEN) in Asymmetric Transfer Hydrogenation of Ketones.

Enantiomerically pure ligands (I) and (II) containing a combination of proline and DPEN moieties are synthesized and successfully employed in the asymmetric transfer hydrogenation of ketones.
