The Study of Edge Detection Operators in Small Target Extraction

We adopted Laplacian operators to dispose the image edge,and compared the disposing effect by three Laplacian masks.The experimental results showed that Laplacian operators was not acceptable when disposing the noise,because of the double edge and failing to detect the edge direction;while the LOG operator had strong anti-noise ability,high positioning accuracy,and better edge continuity.
