Human Skin Homografting-Immunological Studies.

1972
Abstract : Blood samples from burned patients were studied before and after allografting to determine the presence cytotoxic antibodies. In the small series completed, no cytotoxic antibodies were detected. Immunoglobulin profiles were obtained on a larger series of patients which suggested that IgG is increased and IgM and IgA were decreased. Most burned patients had increased RNA and DNA synthesis in unstimulated and PHA stimulated lymphocytes. (Author)
