The Determination and Analyze of the Heavy Metal Element in Farmland Soil Beside Ning-Lian Superhighway

2012
A survey study on heavy metals (Pb, Zn, Cu, Ni, Cr) in soil was carried out in Huai-Lian sections of Ning-Lian Superhighway. The results showed that there was different heavy mental pollution within the 200 m wide zones along either side of the expressway. The heavy metals pollution of the soil was evaluated by using single factor pollution index, the results showed that Pb, Cu and Ni had contaminated the soil, and contaminated level of Ni reached to moderate pollution, while the contaminated level of Pb and Cu reached lightly polluted. The pollution of other heavy metals Zn, Cr was not significant. The maximum pollution index of Pb, Cu and Ni in the soils is 1.85, 1.76 and 2.07, respectively. The content of heavy metals increases according to the distance decreasing apart from the roadbed, but the content of Cu and Cr changes a little within 200 m wide zones.
