Gender Circumstances of Documents and Realities——Taking Advocacy of Public Compositions on the Imbalanced Sex Ratio at Birth for Example

As a public advocacy activity of controling imbalancede sex ratio at birth,it should have strong gender sensitivity.Through the analyses of 124 compositions from gender perspective,we found the topic of gender discrimination focuses on different degrees of education received,parental preference and imbalanced birth sex ratio etc.The understanding of discrimination includes mix-up of gender discrimination and gender equality and four kinds of stereotypes of discrimiantion on girls.Through the discussion with the contributors,we found that most of the participants were females,there still exists boy-preference in household and campus,and the way to achieve the goal of gender equality is a mixed blessing.The further goal of this kind of activity is to change the gender inequality in education and to change the boy-preference in daily life.
