Glutamate Receptor Clusters: Narp, EphB2 Receptor, Stargazin

2009
Neurotransmitter receptor clustering is important for synapse formation and plasticity during development as well as in the mature nervous system. Neurotransmitter receptors are clustered at the active zone of the synapse by a variety of molecular mechanisms. Here, we examine the contribution of three proteins, EphB2 receptor, stargazin, and Narp, in clustering glutamate receptors during synapse formation and synaptic plasticity.
