The novel power transmission system comprises a main electric machine explosion proof switch, a main electric machine, a main pump, a pilot pump, hydraulic controlled valve assembly, an actuating element, a pilot valve assembly and a pilot oil hole of the hydraulic controlled valve assembly, wherein the main electric machine is connected with the main electric machine explosion proof switch, the main pump and the pilot pump are connected with the main electric machine, and the actuating element is used for a working mechanism; and the main pump is connected with the pilot oil hole used for the hydraulic controlled valve assembly by the actuating element used for a working mechanism. The novel power transmission system also comprises a relief valve, a three-way connector, an air cooling motor and an air cooling radiator; the pilot pump is respectively connected with the relief valve and the air cooling motor by the three-way connector; the relief valve is connected with the pilot valve assembly; and the pilot valve assembly is communicated with the pilot oil hole of the hydraulic controlled valve assembly, and the air cooling motor is connected with the air cooling radiator. The novel power transmission system has the beneficial effects that return ways of the hydraulic system of the whole machine are combined together, assemblies such as an air cooling motor explosion proof switch, an air cooling motor, an air cooling pump and the like are eliminated, a pilot pump is introduced for supplying the power for an air cooling radiating system, the production cost is reduced, and the occupied space is reduced.
