Prevention of risks in the work place

: Among the risks in the work place to which nurses are daily exposed, the transmission of serum-borne diseases, such as HIV-AIDS or all types of hepatitis, by means of accidental punctures with sharp-edged or pointed material, are, without a doubt, those which worry nurses the most. Nurses are the members of the sanitary profession closest to patients, therefore, nurses are the ones most at risk to coming into contact with infectious diseases.
