Effects of different type barns on aroma of raw tobacco.

In order to explore the effects of different type barns on aroma of raw tobacco,the cutters samples were taken from the same location and cured in different barns,aroma components of raw tobacco were determined with GC and GC/MS.The results showed that,the total aroma components of raw tobacco of loosen-leaf barn were the highest(1985.014μg/g),of air descending type traditional-type-reformed bulk-curing barn were the second(1973.202 μg/g),of air rising type traditional-type-reformed bulk-curing barn had the lowest(1449.879μg/g).The aroma index of raw tobacco of bulk-curing barn,natural convention air rising type barn and air rising type traditional-type-reformed bulk-curing barn were good;the aroma type index of raw tobacco were between 2.8964(natural convention air rising type barn)and 3.5904(air descending type traditional-type-reformed bulk-curing barn).The barn types had certain effects on the content of aroma components,but could not change aroma types of raw tobacco.
