Model-Based Systems Engineering methods to support the reuse of knowledge within the development of validation environments

Systemic knowledge is an important factor within the development of successful products. Thus, validation is the central activity of product engineering [1]. Only through the analysis of a product and its subsystems in the context of its relevant environment and usage, properties, feasibility and customer benefits can be determined. This constitutes the need for validation environments (VE).
